2017 Queen Tori Thompson
Tori Thompson is a 16 year old Sophomore at Amarillo High
School. When Tori is not representing
RCSP as our 2017 Queen, she is involved in leadership, church and her
horses. Tori serves on her high school
student council, is active in her youth group at Cross Point Church and enjoys
showing her horses in 4H and AQHA, and she also has a passion for art. Tori will be spending the summer serving as a
counselor at Hidden Falls Ranch, helping kids on their journey to know Christ
At the young age of 16, Tori already has many accomplishments
and awards, including the RCSP Horsemanship Award, Tri State Fair and Rodeo
AQHA Youth Barrel Race Champion, Big 5 Horse Show Association Speed Champion,
Medalist in the Junior Visual Art Scholastic Event, 3rd Place District 1 4H
Rifle Contest, takes advanced classes for school and has won many citizenship
Her future plans consist of maintaining her 91-high school
GPA so that she can get in to a good College to study business and art.
2017 Jr. Queen Taylor Thompson
Taylor Thompson is 13 years old and currently attends
Crockett Middle School. Taylor is very active in the drama club, art club, and
the track team, where she competes in the mile run and pole vaulting. When Taylor is not representing RCSP as Jr.
Queen alongside her sister Tori, she is busy showing her horses in 4H and AQHA
Little Taylor also has many accomplishments at the young age
of 13. She won 4th place in the girls’
city track meet for pole vaulting, she is on the A Honor Roll, takes advanced
placement classes, was a featured exhibitor for AQHA Youth Art Show and had a
superior rating at the Junior Visual Art Scholastic Event!
Taylor’s future plans include maintaining her A average and
beating her personal records in pole vaulting and the mile run.

Here is how!
The Randall County Sheriffs Posse is looking for two Cowgirls to represent our club as Queen and Jr. Queen! To be a Queen you must be a good role model. Be kind to others, have others best interests at heart, set a good example, respect your authority and the livestock, be humble, have a servants heart, and try your best to always learn and improve!

Entries will be due: Postmarked by April 21st , 2017
Contest will be held on April 29th, 2017
Queen Competition will start promptly at 10:00 am at the Arena of Life Cowboy Church 8827 S FM 1541, Amarillo, TX 79118
